Associate Clerk to Trustees

Catherine joined The Trust Partnership in the Spring of 2025, bringing her wide foundation management experience, having led the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation for more than seven years. Over three decades, the Foundation has made grants of more than £135 million to hundreds of worthy causes, supporting transformational change in lives across the UK and overseas.

Catherine’s experience of managing all of the affairs of a foundation, from governance to grantmaking, and her former career in fundraising and strategic organisational change in the charitable sector, will be invaluable in supporting our client trusts and coordinating the activities of our expert administrators and accountants.

A Business Studies graduate and alumni of the Cass Business School, Catherine loves spending time with family and friends, is married and has two daughters, and enjoys walking with their golden retriever Alfie. Catherine also volunteers as a reader for Cirencester Talking News, which provides the news from Cirencester and the surrounding areas in audio format for those who are unable to access the printed word.

Data Insights and Analytics Consultant

E-Loné ScheepersE-Loné is the research brain behind our data and insights work at The Trust Partnership. She’s got a strong background in data analytics, research methods and making decisions based on solid evidence.

She spends her time digging deep into foundations across Canada, South Africa and Kenya, pulling together everything we need to properly understand the philanthropic landscape in those countries.

Day to day, that means spotting promising foundation partners, turning complicated information into something clear and useful, and helping shape our outreach strategy. Her calm, thoughtful approach means the team always has trustworthy data to guide the administration and governance side of things.

She’s meticulous and curious. She brings fresh, modern thinking to our research and helps us get better at making decisions based on real insight right across the organisation.

Heidi Yorke

Associate Grants Assessor

Heidi has worked in the charity sector for over 30 years. Initially managing service delivery organisations, Heidi has a keen interest in asset-based community development and supporting the development of small community organisations.

More recently, Heidi has worked in the grant-making sector for a wide range of funders, designing and managing grant programmes of varying sizes. Heidi is Grants Assessor for the Sir Halley Stewart Trust and the Linder Foundation.

Johanna Tompsett

Associate Clerk to Trustees

Johanna TompsettJohanna is a former Director of The Trust Partnership, now working as an Associate Clerk for the Ashley Family Foundation and D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust. Having begun her career in fundraising, she has an excellent understanding of both sides of the grant-making process.

She is also Charity Manager of a London-based grant-maker, SYP Trust, and the Governance lead for a Global Literary Festival.

In addition, Johanna serves on the board of White Ribbon UK, a charity engaging men and boys to prevent violence against women and girls.

Kate Danielson

Associate Clerk to Trustees

Founder of Kate Danielson Associates, Kate has worked in the charitable/NFP sector for over 30 years. She has worked with the arts funders, Jerwood Foundation and Jerwood Arts, for 12 years, founding the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme with the charity in 2010 and as the programme director since the start. She has acted as special projects consultant with Garfield Weston Foundation since 2017, including running a programme of events and awards to mark their 60th anniversary in the year they reached their £1billionth grant. She has been on the Board of two grant-giving trusts, including the BBC Performing Arts Fund.

Kate has been a producer in the arts and social sectors since the start of her career and has a long track record of creating financial stability in organisations, as a consultant and as a trustee. She co-founded social-impact charity, GUST, in Gloucester to do similar work in her local city.

On behalf of The Trust Partnership, Kate acts as Clerk for the Radcliffe Trust, the Charles Russell Speechlys Foundation, Sir Halley Stewart Trust and for two of the Weston family charities: the Reta Lila Howard Foundation and the Reta Lila Weston Trust for Medical Research.

Nadja Singh

Associate Clerk to Trustees

Nadja joined The Trust Partnership in the Spring of 2025, bringing a wealth of senior management and governance expertise from a diverse career spanning start-ups, multinationals, NGOs, and charities, both in the UK and internationally. With over three decades of experience, Nadja has driven transformative projects, managed millions in funding and lead impactful initiatives that have reshaped communities and organisations alike.

Nadja’s extensive background includes spearheading the refurbishment and relaunch of the Sub Rooms in Stroud, an award-winning venue recognised by the Performance Rights Society for its return to live music, as well as managing significant grants to establish maternal healthcare clinics across developing countries like Bangladesh.

Her proven ability to develop innovative strategies and foster collaborative teams will be instrumental in supporting our client foundations and enhancing the work of our administrators and accounts team.

Nadja remains deeply committed to the voluntary sector, currently serving as a Trustee for Strike A Light, an arts charity in Gloucester.
