Working with Jennifer Singhal, an Attorney specialising in international foundation governance and grantmaking, based in Vancouver, BC, The Trust Partnership is developing relationships with foundation clients in Canada. Our long experience working with Canadian philanthropists and the non-profit organisations that they have founded, we’re leveraging our international experience in the effective management of foundations across multiple jurisdictions.

We support charitable foundations by providing a complete administrative and governance service designed to help them work efficiently and deliver effective grant making. Our aim is to ensure that funding is managed well and reaches the people and organisations it is intended to help. Our experienced Clerks who work closely with trustees to oversee governance, prepare agendas, compile board papers, take minutes and manage regulatory submissions. We focus on proportionate and practical support that reflects the wishes of Trustees.

We manage all operational aspects of the activities of client foundations. Our team can shortlist, or simply carry out the directions of Trustees. We develop criteria and conduct proportionate due diligence checks, liaising with beneficiaries, overseeing payments and monitoring progress. We ensure that reporting requirements are met and that all records are maintained in line with data retention policies. Every foundation reflects the values of its founders and trustees, so we assign each client a Clerk who understands their aims and oversees a team of Administrators responsible for day to day activity. We arrange suitable IT support and secure digital filing systems to maintain business continuity and reliable access to records.

Our financial administration offers bookkeeping, year-end accounts and full financial management. Through this integrated approach we help our clients fulfil their charitable objectives with clarity, accountability and confidence.
